Rafael’s Bistro opened its doors in March 2025, bringing a long-overdue upgrade to Glasgow’s family Italian restaurant scene. Our owners, also the minds behind the beloved El Mazatlán restaurants, recognized the city’s need for a modern hangout where fans, friends, and families could come together for food, drinks, and unbeatable game-day vibes.
At Rafael’s, you’ll enjoy the same great service, but with a new menu and a vibrant sports-focused atmosphere. Think crispy wings, artisan burgers, hand-tossed pizzas, and more, all made fresh, all ready. We’re not serving Mexican cuisine here, but we are serving bold flavors and crowd favorites you’ll want to come back for.

Yes! We offer outdoor seating right in front of Rafael’s, perfect for enjoying your meal and drinks on a sunny day. While we don’t have an outdoor bar, our full menu and bar service are available at the patio tables.

From hand-stretched dough made daily to house-made clam chowder, salad dressings, and even our hamburger and hot dog buns, we make it all in-house. Every meal is crafted with care to give you that made-from-scratch quality you can taste.
Rafael’s offers a delicious kids menu with favorites like chicken tenders, Alfredo pasta, and cheeseburgers.
